Apart from Single Dose Diflucan Mg being good friend’s of mine, Ben and Ammy are awesome photographers themselves so it was a real honour when they Single Dose Diflucan Mg asked me to take on the responsibility of photographing their special day and an engagement shoot. The shoot took place Single Dose Diflucan Mg in the London docklands area and Bank, during our shoot we stumbled accross a green abandonded sofa which we made Single Dose Diflucan Mg use of for a few shots.

A special thank you and shout to their friend Peter who assisted on the shoot, much appreciated !

Single Dose Diflucan Mg

Single Dose Diflucan Mg Shooting with available light is a bit of a buzz word in photography and as a wedding photographer I am Single Dose Diflucan Mg often presented with non ideal lighting locations at wedding venues and the challenge is always to make the most of Single Dose Diflucan Mg what I am given. Shooting with available light does not always mean natural light , through the course of a Single Dose Diflucan Mg wedding, I am always on the hunt for sources of light this can be the in the form of street Single Dose Diflucan Mg lamps, car headlights or in the case below borrowing light from the videographer who will often use a video light.

Single Dose Diflucan Mg below is my final image notice lighting that is not direct such as on camera flash gives a much more Single Dose Diflucan Mg three dimensional quality to the image.

I always believe Single Dose Diflucan Mg that light is often more important than location, the below image was shot in front of a trailer container

Below is the Single Dose Diflucan Mg original image and it was that shaft of light that prmpted me to place the couple in that location.

I recently went through a Single Dose Diflucan Mg housekeeping process of archiving old photos in preparation to make the jump from Windows based comptuer to Mac and found Single Dose Diflucan Mg this image in my library taken at Trinity Buoy Wharf with the O2 centre as the backdrop.

My new Macbook Pro Single Dose Diflucan Mg will allow me to do same day edits for my wedding clients. This is essentially a showreelof the photos Single Dose Diflucan Mg shot earlier in the day that can be show on the wedding day.

Ask any photographer what Single Dose Diflucan Mg their favourite gadget is and I am guessing 8 out of 10 will say the Apple Iphone. For me, Single Dose Diflucan Mg I use my iphone 4 to store my calendar dates for appointments and shoots, before any wedding I Single Dose Diflucan Mg have a pre flight check list of key contacts, addresses of venues etc stored on the phone. I even Single Dose Diflucan Mg use the Tom Tom application to guide me to my wedding locations. One of my favourite new features of Single Dose Diflucan Mg the Iphone 4 over it’s predecessors is the 5 megapixel camera. Just as a bit of fun, I Single Dose Diflucan Mg took a few of my phone snaps and performed some basic editing in the lightroom 3. All that was Single Dose Diflucan Mg done was a bit of noise reduction to clean up the images then all I did was play around Single Dose Diflucan Mg with the contrast sliders.

I always say Single Dose Diflucan Mg with photography the most important thing is light, the tools are essential, I won’t be turning up a wedding Single Dose Diflucan Mg with just my iphone ! but the skills of composition and lighting remain what sets professionals from the Single Dose Diflucan Mg amateurs not the new high end SLR’s.

Dennis & Vay

November 7, 2010 No comments yet

Dennis and Vay were married in the Queens House in Greenwich which was commissioned by Anne of Denmark, wife of James I (reigned 1603–25), I admit I just googled that fact up, but it is truly one of my favourite venues to photograph and even though it threatened to rain all day, we managed to get all the outdoor photography done in the nick of time. Indoors the building was lovely with antiue flooring and I just loved that spiral staircase.

The recepetion followed at the YI Ban Chinese restaurant where by my second shooter Ammy Lam and I were both in awe when Dennis performed a superb acapella rendition of some classic Canto Pop songs. Just an amazing voice of which I am truly envious of!

In terms of photography there were some challenging aspects in that the sky was dull and overcast, I used the off camera flash to bring out the sky in the portrait in front of the main building when I had a chance and for the indoor portraits were I used my new LED light panel for fill. The image of the child sucking on a gobstober was shot through a car window and I liked the way it had the building in the bottom framing the image nicely.

Anthony & Kathy Engagement

November 6, 2010 No comments yet

The weather was once again threatening to pour down and I had prepared for the worst by bringing waterproofs and only using weathersealed lenses and gear to Anthony and Kathy’s pre wedding shoot. I decided on the Location of Thames Barrier Park as it is generally not that busy and I know the layout of the park well. As the dress is not the one that Kathy will be wearing on the day, she had no hesitation when I asked her to step in front of a muddy puddle and to the end of the shoot we even went up to the DLR station and took some shots in the golden sunset light. Note to all couples, if possible try to schedule photos during the twilight hours when you plan your wedding or engagment photos.
