A lot of people think that the work of the photographer is finished once the wedding day is over, but for us the work has just begun. We shoot all our weddings in RAW format which is equivalent of a digital negative.  These images then get processed, essentially digitally developed using the latest in image editing software.

We then go on and perform a three step process:

COLOR CORRECTION
It’s not good enough to ensure that we have the correct colour balance and temperature for each picture. In today’s market, professional photographers demand a consistent look across all their pictures.

LIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The bride and groom want bright images that “pop” while maintaining all the details embedded within the image. Fortunately, Docklands Photography has a team that is professionally trained to achieve these results.

RETOUCHING
Our aim is not to make the images artificial but if there is a perfect image that you may want to enlarge but has a distracting red exit sign above the head, then we can digitally remove this. Our aim is to minimise these distractions when composing the shot rather than to edit them out but sometimes when there is a spontaneous special moment, we will capture the moment first and worry about details later.
